Peel 10029

Canadian Pacific Railway Company. Resorts in the Canadian Rockies. [Montreal?: Canadian Pacific Railway Company?, ca. 1903].
Physical description: 23, [14] p. : ill. ; 10 x 15 cm.
Language: English
Cover title. Promotional pamphlet for Canadian Pacific mountain lodges. Undated, but elements of the text suggest that it was likely published between 1902 and 1905. Page 6 identifies the only successful ascent of Mount Assiniboine as having taken place in September 1901. The captions for the photographs of the Banff and Lake Louise hotels – unlike those of other hotels depicted – do not carry provincial identifiers, suggesting that the pamphlet was issued before Alberta became a province in September 1905.
Also published, [1908?] ed., [Montreal?]: [Canadian Pacific Railway Company?], [1908?]; [1910?] ed., [Montreal?]: [Canadian Pacific Railway Company?], [1910?]; and, 1912 ed., [Montreal?]: [Canadian Pacific Railway Company?], 1912.
