Text and title in Cree syllabics; imprint in Roman: "Moose C.M.S.S. 1853." Originally to be set in London, instead the Church Missionary Society sent a press and font of type out to Moose Factory. The type (Cree No. 1, English) was designed and cast by William Mavor Watts. Horden began to set the type for this, the first Moose Mission Press book, on November 5, 1853.
