Hurlburt, Thomas (translator) [info]; Mason, William (1813?-1893) (translator) [info]. Ipisietopiw (=Ephesians). [Norway House, NWT: Wesleyan Missionary Society, Rossville Mission Press, 1857].
Physical description: 40 p.; 21 cm.
Language: Cree
Consists of: Paul to the Ephesians (pages 1-14); General epistle of James (14-24); Second epistle general of Peter (24-30); and First epistle general of John (31-40). "Roughly printed at the Mission press, probably as only 'copy' for the use of the British and Foreign Bible Society…" (Pilling, Bibliography of the Algonquian languages , 338). Pilling attributes entire translation to William Mason, but according to Darlow and Moule, Historical catalogue of printed editions of Holy Scripture in the Library of the British and Foreign Bible Society , Mason himself said he prepared this for the press, but Hurlburt did the translation of Paul.
