To Canada, 1890; ordained a Church of England priest, 1894; missionary to Peigan Natives, 1893-1899; co-operated with Canon Stocken in devising a syllabic form of writing for the Blackfoot Indians; at Red Deer, 1899-1907; moved to British Columbia and became active in politics; chaplain with 143rd Battalion in France with rank of captain in First World War; Minister of Education in British Columbia government, 1928 (Who's who in western Canada; Canadian who's who, 1949-1951; Province, May 10, 1954).
