1837-1930. Stock breeder from eastern Canada who organized the Oxley Ranch Co. in England, 1881; manager of the ranch until its sale in 1886; manager of Meadow Creek Land and Ranch Co. for many years; president of the North West Livestock and Ranchers' Association for five years; died in St Thomas, Ontario (Morgan, Canadian men and women of the time, 1912; Maple Creek News, January 30, 1930).
