6300: Pioneering in western Canada A story of the Baptists . 1939.: McLaurin, Colin Campbell (1854-1940.); 1854-1940. Baptist clergyman from Ontario; served at Brandon, 1897-1901; assistant superintendent of Baptist missions for the Prairie Provinces, 1901-1906; superintendent of missions in Alberta, 1907-1924, where he did much pioneering, particularly in the Peace River area (Canadian who's who, 1936-1938).
