Grain Growers' Guide (1908-1928) is described as "the most important publication of the early farm movement." (The Encyclopedia of Saskatchewan). It was first published by the Grain Growers Grain Company (G.G.G.C.) under the editorial leadership of E.A. Partridge, one of the founders of the farming cooperative. From vol. 21, no. 7 (2 April 1928) to vol. 29, no. 5 (May 1936), issued under the title Country Guide, which continues to be published in Winnipeg by the United Grain Growers.
In [1936], merges with The Nor'west farmer to form The country guide and Nor-west farmer. These publications - The Nor'west farmer, Winnipeg: Nor'west Farmer, 1882-1936 and The country guide and Nor-west farmer, Winnipeg: [s.n.], 1936-1942 - are described separately in the bibliography.
