On the left hand side of the photograph there is the Bank of Montreal, Bank of British North America, Norman Block, Clarence Block, Tribune Block and Molson's Bank. There are three street cars with people milling about in the street. A few period automobiles can be seen in the distance. Many of the stores have awnings.
