To: Mrs K. Starbird
From: J.B. Howard
Address: Oxford, Maine, U.S.A.
Message: Dear Mrs Starbird: Thank you for your card. We were much pleased to be remembered. On account of illness and having visitors our Christmas correspondence is not all attended to yet. We are having a very mild winter with very little snow and much sunshine. The picture on the other side of this is an actual photograph of the Parliament building of this Province of Alberta. There are many fine buildings here even if it is the "wild & wolly West". And the climate is good. That is why I am a fixture here, at least it is one of the reasons. And by the way the son of the baby girl (Ellan) born in Oxford is in the Air Force & has been 1 1/2 yrs in England, but now in Canada. - Mrs H. joins me in kind regards & good wishes and again Thank you - J.B. Howard.
