Alma isn't leaving till the 1st of the month (Sept) Sent a little dress for Violet & socks for Stewart I wish I could have sent more. Handechief [Handkerchief] for Lenard if he writes me a letter. It was cold here this month, but now it is very, warm. We had two roasted wild ducks for dinner today which were good. Tell Pa to hold his hand high for when the railway comes in.
