Garry came to Canada to cement the union of NWC and HBC. He reached Red River by the eastern route and returned to England via Hudson Bay. He travelled with Simon McGillivray of NWC to the fur trading posts of both companies between Fort William, the Red River Settlement, and York Fort. Also published, edited by William James Noxon with added material, limited to 150 copies, Toronto: [Canadiana], 1973 (138p.).
