Signed and dated: "Sev. Dumoulin…St. Pierre Riv. du Sud, 10 mars 1824." Dumoulin and Provencher, who later became bishop, were the first missionaries at the Red River. This is said to have been printed with the condition that it not go beyond the hands of Catholics.
